Wednesdays Visual Writing Prompt

I am starting to find some really amazing pictures. I love this one, I hope it inspires you. With the illusion of movement, I couldn’t resist it 🙂

Challenge

Use this prompt to think outside the box, to go somewhere with your writing that you had never dared go before. See what kind of magic you can work with that brilliant mind of yours. You are a storyteller so this will be a breeze.

Maybe you could use this prompt to add a scene to the current book you are writing. Maybe you could start a short story that you can give away for free to subscribers of your blog. A picture like this can spark ideas you may never have considered.

The Rules

There aren’t really many rules, just enough to get your blog some attention and get new people interested in your writing…

  2. My African King is a combination of Jazz and Classical music. No lyrics needed. The way he moves, the way he speaks, everything he does at any given moment express the crescendos, arias, arpeggios of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Brahms and Liszt in conjunction with the complexity of swing, be-bop, fusion and smooth Jazz.
The Emperor is both the sacred and the secular. My High Priest is a concert and a symphony.

The Queen of Ethiopia and Egypt manifests Spirituals, Gospel, R&B, Soul, Pop and Jazz with some Rock, Blues, and Classical music added to the mix. The music of the High Priestess reflects her mood as bestowed upon her by the Goddess Luna. Music reflects my Inner Being and will tell you who I am without my saying a word. She is the Sacred one who morphs into profane in your face world of Hip-Hop. She moves from Mahalia Jackson and Shirley Caesar, channeling Ghetto Rap becoming the Real Roxanne, Missy Eliot, and Queen Latifah.
We move together in an adagio, a mutual orbit linked together by one greater than ourselves.

    Date: 1699
1 : a musical composition or movement in adagio tempo
2 : a ballet duet by a man and woman or a mixed trio displaying difficult feats of balance, lifting, or spinning
