Here are today’s five things to know about Mousse:
The word mousse is French and translates as “froth” or “foam.”
Cold dessert mousses are often poured into decorative glasses and garnished with fruit, sweet sauces, or whipped cream.
Savory mousses can be made from fish, shellfish, meat, foie gras, etc.
There are three key constituents to a mousse: base, binder, and aerator.
Chocolate mousse really came into the public eye in the U.S. in the 1930’s, about the time as chocolate pudding mixes were introduced.

NO FEE Submission call for Inklette Magazine — DEADLINE: Dec. 31, 2017
Inklette “is a not-for-profit, online literary magazine helmed by emerging artists and writers from all over. Inklette believes in the ability of art and literature to strike our consciousness in inexplicable ways.”
The magazine was started as an e-newsletter by Devanshi Khetarpal in March 2014. They are currently open for submissions for their sixth issue with the theme of ‘Home’ until December 31, 2017. Non-themed submissions will be accepted as well. They are looking for poetry, fiction, non-fiction, photography, visual art, and graphic fiction. They accept simultaneous submissions and try to respond within a month. Questions can be sent to club.ink13@gmail.com.
