The Spring and Winter continue to dual in the Northeastern United States, haijin! Snow fell Thursday morning and melted away by Thursday afternoon. Nevertheless, the cold fights a rearguard action against the march of warmth.

A single daffadil blooms in my backyard garden. According to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, daffodils and Cherry trees blossom around the same time. What better way can haijin mark the spring but by celebrating the coming Cherry Blossom season!
