#YDWordPrompt-Grateful

Grateful for each moment

I am grateful for each and every moment
I am grateful for the love that I have found
I am grateful for the friends that I have made
I am grateful for the life that I have been given

I am grateful for the chance to wake up each day
I am grateful for the chance to make a difference
I am grateful for the chance to be alive

Thank you for everything
Thank you for the good and the bad
Thank you for the happy and the sad
Thank you for everything that has made me who I am today

I am grateful for it all

Without the bad, I would never appreciate the good
Without the sad, I would never appreciate the happy
Without the moments that have tested me, I would never be as strong as I am today

So thank you for everything
Thank you for the moments that have made me laugh
And thank you for the moments that have made me cry

Thank you for the moments that have made me who I am today

I am grateful for it all

The Longest Day

The sun had already begun to shift lower in the sky, and the shadows in the room were lengthening. William had been sitting at his desk for hours, and his eyes felt gritty and dry. He rubbed them wearily, trying to banish the fatigue that was starting to seep into his bones.

He had been working on this project for weeks, and he was so close to finishing it. But now, with the end in sight, he was starting to doubt himself. Was this really good enough to show to his boss? Would she see how hard he had worked and appreciate it, or would she just tear it apart and tell him to start again?

He sighed and stood up, stretching his arms above his head. He should take a break, maybe go for a walk or get something to eat. But he was afraid that if he stopped now, he would never start again.

He sat back down and forced himself to keep going. He would finish this, and then he could take all the break he wanted.

The hours passed, and eventually, he reached the end. He leaned back in his chair and stared at the document on his screen, feeling a sense of achievement.

Word Of The Day Challenge -Party

A Night to Remember

It was the night of the big party. All of the guests had arrived and the house was filled with laughter and music. Everywhere you looked, there was something to see or do. The food was plentiful and the drinks were flowing. It was truly a night to remember.

As the night went on, the guests began to pair off and head to different parts of the house. Some were dancing in the living room, others were playing games in the basement, and a few couples had even snuck upstairs to the private bedrooms.

No matter where you looked, there was something happening. It was a party like no other.

As the night began to wind down, the guests started to say their goodbyes and head home. They all had a great time and agreed that it was a party to remember.

A parade of criminals

The criminals were paraded through the streets as punishment for their crimes. The people of the town jeered and spat at them as they were led to the square, where they were made to stand on a platform for all to see.

The townspeople were given a chance to throw rotten fruit and vegetables at them, and many took advantage of it. The criminals were then taken away to the jail, where they would be locked up for their crimes.

Always an uphill battle

It was always an uphill battle with Karen and her parents. From the very beginning, they had argued about everything. It didn’t matter what it was, they could find a way to disagree.

Now, as Karen stood in front of them, arguing once again, she could see the same familiar looks on their faces. Her mother looked disappointed, while her father looked annoyed.

“You’re never going to understand,” Karen said, her voice rising in frustration. “It’s not like you even try!”

“We’re your parents, Karen,” her mother said calmly. “It’s our job to try and understand you.”

“Well, you’re not doing a very good job,” Karen shot back. “I don’t know why you can’t just accept me for who I am!”

With that, she turned and stormed out of the room, leaving her parents to continue their arguing in peace.

The Princess and the Rubbish

Once upon a time, there was a princess who loved to collect rubbish. She had a room full of it, and she was always sorting through it, looking for hidden treasures.

One day, she found a magic wand in her rubbish pile. With a wave of the wand, she was able to transform her rubbish into beautiful things.

She was so happy with her new found power that she decided to share it with the world. She went on to become a famous artist, and her rubbish sculptures were enjoyed by people all over the world.
